On 27 November 2009, David
joined the 3AW fishing show as co-host with Paul Worsteling, after
long-term football and fishing commentator Rex Hunt resigned from 3AW to
move to Triple MMM.
David and Paul can be heard on 3AW 693 AM at 7.00 - 8.00pm on Friday nights during the AFL off-season. |

In 2008, David hosted 26 half-hour episodes of River to Reef TV which airs on Foxtel and Southern Cross Ten throughout regional Australia. In the first series, David travels around Tasmania's coastline before heading inland to some of the best trout fisheries in the world. The second series was filmed in Far North Queensland starting at Karumba in the west, Cooktown up north then making his way down the coast to the Whitsunday Islands. |

Futurefish Foundation is a
registered charitable organisation dedicated to protecting and enhancing
recreational fishing for all Victorians as well as providing opportunities
for children and people with disabilities to go fishing. David became a Director of Futurefish Foundation in 2007 and manages all events and projects for the Foundation, including Australia's biggest kids come try fishing day and Australia's biggest fishing event for people with disabilities. David also sits on the management committee for the Futurefish Foundation Environmental Trust. |

David also co-hosts the 3SER
Fishing show, a light paced show on one of Victoria's biggest community
radio stations. Together with Lee Rayner and Jarrod Day, the two-hour programme runs all year round
and provides great local reports from Port Phillip Bay, Western Port,
Gippsland, Southern NSW as well as most of Victoria's popular inland
fisheries. David serves as Vice-President on the 3SER board of management and has recently negotiated a significant four-year funding agreement with the local council. David is responsible for employment at the station and also heads up the Programme Review committee. |

David is a current member of the Commonwealth Government's recreational fishing advisory committee. This committee is charged with writing a new policy for recreational fishing as well as providing advice on implementing strategies which will support the new policy. GOOGA'S HOME PAGE |
